Marina Vianello
Marina Vianello is a dance artist and arts administrator, currently based in Portland, Oregon. She grew up in Kansas City, MO and began her training at City in Motion Dance Theater’s School of Dance. She graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Global Systems from George Mason University, where she was awarded an annual Dance Talent Scholarship. Vianello danced professionally in New York City for 7 years, performing as a company dancer with Terre Dance Collective, Ballaro Dance, Mari Meade Dance Collective, and Arsenal Movement Dance Project.
Other professional performance credits include the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Yoo & Dancers (NYC 92Y), JKing Dance Company, and As Arts NY Dance. She has also performed internationally at the Châteaux en Fêtes (Festival of Castles) in Dordogne, France for their 2023 and 2024 festivals. Her choreography has been presented at the Tada Theatre and Arts on Site in NYC, and at the Gem Theater and Folly Theater in Kansas City.
She teaches dance and Pilates and serves as the Director of Operations for Pony Box Dance Theatre. She was recently named the 2025 recipient of the George Mason University College of Visual and Performing Arts Young Alumni Creative Development Award & Grant, and is currently a company dancer with push/FOLD in her first season.
