Jana  Matthews began her dance training in San Antonio, at the age of four.  She has a BFA in dance from West Texas A&M University and about fifteen years of teaching experience. 

A versatile dancer, Jana has trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, acro, heels, and many social dance styles. Jana also has considerable professional dance experience.  She spent three seasons dancing in the outdoor musical TEXAS at Palo Duro Canyon, was in a modern dance company in California and has performed in theme parks in Texas, New York,  Indiana, and Washington D.C.  As a magician's assistant, she has  performed on Disney Cruise lines, in Myrtle Beach, and in Las Vegas.

She is excited to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students.
