JoAnna Robinson
JoAnna began her dance journey in New York where she studied jazz, hip-hop, ballet, tap, & contemporary, and began teaching at the age of 16. She went on to dance in college where she was captain of her dance team, but decided to take a break from dance upon graduating. After a few years away, she organically came back to dance primarily through freestyling, and found a strong house dance community in Brooklyn, NY, where she was able to hone in on her hip-hop skills and various street styles.
Now, her style is a fusion of hip-hop, contemporary, street dance, & jazz, and she loves to connect with others through dance. She considers dance to be one of the most important parts of her life, & believes it should be accessible to everyone. To JoAnna, everyone has an inner dancer within them, & she loves to help others discover what dance means to them.
